How We Do Things
Morning Star Baptist Church offers relevant, contextual programs for the church and community. Our programs impact children, youth, young adults, men, women, seniors, and families. Children are nurtured through the vibrant childcare center as well as through additional programs that focus on their spiritual and social development. Youth participate in mentoring programs where they receive life skills training, tutoring, and positive guidance. Young persons and adults participate in our rich arts programming which focuses on music and dance.
Beyond our strong Christian Education program, adults and families participate in financial literacy training, health and wellness curriculums, and targeted educational programs including GED preparation, computer literacy, and academic tutoring.
We also offer a licensed counseling center, services and programs at local assisted living facilities, nursing homes, shelters, and prisons. We are committed to making a difference in the lives of the community.
