During Convocations 2015

We Are Living The Vision

Both Inside and Outside the Walls of MSBC

Please support the following outreach efforts as you join us for Worship:

  • September 8th is our Two Can Tuesday - Everyone is asked to bring in two canned good which will be donated to the Maryland Food Bank.  We will also welcome representatives from the Food Bank who will share important information regarding the organizations mission and how our support can make a difference.
  • September 9th is our Walk a Mile in My Shoes Wednesday - Donate new or slightly used shoes for the international Soles for Souls effort (sneakers, boots, etc.)  A pair of shoes provides relief today so thousands can succeed tomorrow.
  • September 10th is Toiletry Thursday - Donate toiletries (deodorants, soaps, shower shoes, shower gels, hair spray) to be distributed to Baltimore area homeless shelters.  Representatives from the County’s Shelter Program Office will join us for worship.

Thanks for helping US make a difference!

Our Evangelism Ministry is leading the effort to welcome 40 individuals who are not regular church attendees to each night of our Fall Convocation.  How are they doing this?  They’ve designed a special Convocation Commitment Card, which they are distributing throughout the community.  The card identifies the guest and entitles them to the “red carpet treatment” during Convocation.  As our guests they’ll receive reserve seating and a special shout out from the pulpit.  You can help us reach our goal.  How?  Grab some of the commitment cards from the Information Center or download one from the website.  Then – share them with persons who are not regular church attendees. Remind them they should show their card when they come to service.  We want everyone “Living the Vision.”
