Young Adults

Our Young Adult Ministries

Morning Star’s Young Adult Ministry groups support high school graduates, college students and individuals up to age 35 and under.  Many participants are single adults whose primary activities revolve around work or school, but some have young families. The Ministry – formally known as PURPOSE - is committed to helping young adults understand God’s purpose for their lives through prayer, praise, worship, bible study and outreach.  PURPOSE is the umbrella structured with setting the overall vision and coordinating activities for the entire Ministry.  While these activities address  social and spiritual needs – two additional ministries  meet more specific needs for young adult men and college students.

Embracing Manhood is committed to engaging young men in different areas of their lives to promote security, knowledge, wisdom, and brotherhood.  Members seek to support young brothers through sessions and fellowship opportunities while providing positive leadership that they can identify with.

The Higher Heights College Ministry endeavors to lead college students into a healthy growing relationship with Christ by balancing the student and the Christian.  Their mission is to help students maintain Christian principles and remain in the body of Christ while facing an unsaved world.

Purpose meets on the First Friday of each month.

Embracing Manhood meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday at 6:30 p.m.

Higher Heights hosts a college breakfast on Sundays at 11:00 a.m.

Attention: Calling All Students and Parents. The Higher Heights College Ministry is in the process of creating a college ministry database to keep in contact with our students who are away at school.
