Manifest: A 40-Day Journey of Surrender
Lent is the Christian season of preparation before Easter, a time when many Christians observe a period of fasting, repentance, moderation, self-denial and spiritual discipline. The purpose is to set aside time for reflection on Jesus Christ - his suffering and his sacrifice, his life, death, burial, and resurrection. Ash Wednesday marks the first day, or the start of the season of Lent, which begins 40 days prior to Easter (Sundays are not included in the count). Join us for a journey of surrender …

Welcome To The Journey
*Most persons will choose to sacrifice food during their fast. Those persons to be sensitive to their overall health needs during the fast period. Others will choose to fast from things which reveal more of a sacrifice. For example, for the person who has no problem going all morning/all day without eating – fasting may not be a challenge. Make sure your fast is a sacrifice that challenges you to turn to Jesus. Persons can consider television, social media or perhaps a specific food item. And, remember the Lenten season is not simply about what you give up, it’s also about what you take in – the goal is more Jesus through prayer, meditation, and The Word.
